This weekend we took advantage of my mother being here to look after the boys and took the Eurostar over to Pars to meet up with old friends.

For three years we have been trying to get to this corner of Holland to see the tulips. All plans had been scuttled (alternate work holiday, missed ferry boat, etc…) But we finally made it, albeit a little late for the proper ‘in the fields’ season. But the Keukenhof Gardens were at their peak. What a wonderful trip.

There were a couple of these around the park. I can’t even imagine how they planted them all.

Travel Journals

We have been luck enough to travel around a fair amount. I have been very slow to add these trips to the weblog; however, its a fair amount of work.

I share the pictures and the comments because sites like these have been invaluable in helping us plan trips. I just want to give back a little.
